· Building of an insertion new block including hull and all piping/outfitting finalized with all coating activities. · Cutting of the vessel at dry dock and moving of forward part by Gemak Group’s owned skidding system. · Alignment of insertion block and forward part to aft part within ±5mm tolerance. · New cofferdams were created in slop tanks. · Outer shell and inside reinforcement due to longitudinal strength. · Structural reinforcement against bottom slamming and bow impact. · Collising bulkhead re-positioning. · New structural ventilation ducts. · Structural modification acc. to Marpol requirements (new double bottom and inner hull for the forward fuel oil tanks). · Related modifications for all piping systems. |
